Kilcreggan Primary School is set amongst the rolling green hills of Argyll and Bute looking out over the waters of Loch Long. We are lucky to be situated in an environmentally rich area which provides us with excellent opportunity to expand pupils experiences and enhance the teaching of the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. Our school is non-denominational and co-educational. We are situated on the Rosneath peninsula between the villages of Cove and Kilcreggan, our catchment area being spread over a wide area from Millbrae to Coulport and therefore many children attending the school come by contract transport.
Our ethos revolves around a nurturing and supporting environment where pupils are encouraged to be explorative in their thinking and reflective in their learning. We have a fantastic and ambitious staff who endeavour to create exciting and relevant learning experiences for our pupils. With this in mind we also focus on the development of our staff as well as our pupils to maintain a perspective at the forefront of education in Scotland.
